How the product works
Blue Dolphin Eco Seal is applied in multiple layers to provide optimal protection. The first layer covers approximately 10 m² per liter, while the second and third layers cover 12 m² and 14 m² per liter, respectively. The product is preferably applied with a microfiber roller or spatula for even distribution. After application, the lacquer is touch-dry within 2 to 4 hours, and a second layer can be applied without intermediate sanding. However, if more than 12 hours pass between applying layers, the surface should be lightly sanded with grit 220. After 12 to 24 hours, the floor is ready for polishing, and a final layer can be applied. The product is fully loadable after 10 to 14 days.

Instructions for use

It is also important that the surface is free of grease, wax, and other contaminants. A microfiber roller or spatula can be used for application. After the first layer has been applied, the product should dry for 2-4 hours before a second layer can be applied. With a longer drying time of 12-24 hours, the surface should first be lightly sanded with grit 220. For maintenance, Blue Dolphin Soft Balm can be used; a nourishing cleaning agent that is easy to apply with a mop or cloth.
Maintenance and advice
To maintain the finish, it is recommended to use Blue Dolphin Soft Balm as a maintenance product. This product nourishes and cleans the wood, keeping the finish beautiful for longer. Add one capful of Soft Balm to 2 liters of water and apply this mixture thinly and evenly over the surface with a BD Spray Mop or polish cloth. After approximately 20 minutes of drying, the surface can optionally be polished with a cotton cloth. Store Blue Dolphin Eco Seal in a cool, well-ventilated area in the original, closed packaging. The product is sensitive to frost and has limited shelf life after opening.
