How the product works
Stauf Shrink-Free Mortar RM works by forming a homogeneous mass that can be easily distributed and smoothed. Mix the mortar in a clean container with the correct amount of water, stir evenly, and ensure a smooth consistency. Apply the levelling compound with a trowel or spatula and spread evenly over the substrate. The mortar dries quickly and is walkable after 30 minutes at 20°C. It is ready for bonding after about 2 hours. This product can be applied in layer thicknesses ranging from 1 to 50 mm, depending on additions such as quartz sand.

The mortar is walkable after about 30 minutes at 20°C and ready to be laid after 2 hours at a humidity level of ≤ 3 CM%.
The substrate must be clean, dry, dust-free, and free from adhesion-reducing layers. Any cracks and joints should be sealed with STAUF casting resin, and holes can be filled with a dimensionally stable levelling product from Stauf.
