Lecol OH51 PVC Polish: Water-Based Protection for PVC and Vinyl Floors
What is Lecol OH51 PVC Polish?
Lecol OH51 PVC Polish is a water-based maintenance product developed for protecting and maintaining PVC and vinyl floors. This polish, based on specially modified aqueous polyurethane dispersions, forms a highly elastic protective film that is resistant to mechanical stress and repels dirt and rubber marks. The product provides a matte finish and is smear-resistant, ensuring the floor retains its appearance even with intensive use.
How Lecol OH51 PVC Polish Works
Lecol OH51 PVC Polish works by applying a protective layer to the floor that protects the surface from wear, dirt, and damage. The product is applied undiluted with a special polish applicator to a completely clean, dry floor. The first layer should only be applied 14 days after laying the PVC or vinyl floor. The polish dries quickly, with a drying time of about 30 minutes per layer, and should dry completely without any buffing or rubbing. During use, puddle formation should be avoided to ensure an even finish.
Benefits and Features
Lecol OH51 PVC Polish provides a durable solution for maintaining PVC and vinyl floors. The product is easy to apply, dries quickly, and offers a matte finish that repels dirt and rubber marks. Thanks to its elastic protective film, the floor is well protected against mechanical stress and retains its attractive appearance even with intensive use. The product is suitable for both private and commercial use and is available in boxes containing 12 bottles of 1,000 ml. Additionally, if stored frost-free in its original packaging, it has a shelf life of 24 months.
Instructions for Use
For optimal use of Lecol OH51 PVC Polish, the floor must first be completely clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, and wax. Thoroughly clean old floors with Lecol PVC Remover OH55 and rinse with clean water. Shake the polish well before use. Apply the undiluted Lecol OH51 PVC Polish evenly with a polish applicator, avoiding puddle formation. Allow the floor to dry completely without buffing or rubbing. Depending on usage intensity, it may be necessary to reapply the polish 1 to 2 times per year.
Maintenance or Advice
To ensure the long-term preservation of the floor, it is recommended to treat the floor with Lecol PVC Polish OH51 after each cleaning. If re-treatment is necessary, the floor should first be cleaned with Lecol PVC Remover OH55. Avoid using Lecol OH51 PVC Polish on floors treated with another maintenance product. Protect the product from frost and keep it out of reach of children for safe use.
