How does Kerakoll EP21 work?

Kerakoll EP21 is supplied as a 2-component system (part A and part B) that must be mixed in a ratio of 2.5:1. Before application, the mixture should be well stirred until a homogeneous product is obtained. EP21 can be applied in various ways, depending on the purpose: as a dust-binding primer, deep fixer, or impregnating agent. Depending on the absorption rate of the substrate, the product can be diluted with Keragrip Eco Pulep and applied evenly with a brush or roller. For applications on substrates that do not guarantee full absorption of EP21, the fresh product layer should be sprinkled with Quarzo 5.12 to ensure optimal adhesion.

Instructions for Use

Apply EP21 with a brush or roller, depending on the purpose and specifications. If used as an impregnating agent, apply a diluted layer first, followed by a second undiluted layer after the first one has dried. Ensure adequate ventilation during and after use, and clean tools immediately with Diluente 01 to prevent curing. After complete curing, the product can only be removed mechanically.

Kerakoll EP21 is a professional product that must be used strictly according to applicable standards and regulations. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme heat, and use the product only within the recommended temperature range of +10°C to +35°C. If more than 30 hours must pass before a subsequent layer is applied, the surface must be sanded to ensure adequate adhesion.
